We are a cashless business. Payment is collected via weekly invoices, accepted forms of payment are visa, amex, master card, apple pay, and linking of bank accounts.

  • Do I need to get in the water?

You do not unless there is a group session where an instructor needs additional coverage of the steps. But you are ALWAYS welcome to join in on a lesson.

  • What are the Parent's Roles?

We encourage parents of toddlers to get in the water for the first few lessons so that your child will experience less stranger and separation anxiety. Our goal for children of all ages is to establish a relationship of trust between your child and the instructor. Once this occurs, your child will learn to trust him/herself in the water and real progress begins.

  • If we have vacation planned, is it okay to miss a week of lessons?

Of course! We completely understand how fun summer can be! Please let us know in advance if you plan to be out of town or need to skip. Remember that your child’s mastery of swimming is dependent on their attendance of lessons.

Please note: If you have a recurring lesson each week and more than 2 are canceled in a 4 week period we will have to ask you to select a different time slot or book weekly as you are available.

  • What about ear infections?

There are two types of ear infections, one is caused by middle ear build-up secondary to Eustachian tube congestion & the other is caused by pool or bath water not drying up in the outer ear canal “Swimmers’ Ear”. To prevent the latter, ask your pediatrician about the use of ear drops that are available at your local pharmacy. Swimming does not cause middle ear infections. Children with ventilation tubes must first get a medical clearance from their pediatrician before starting swim lessons and should wear ear plugs, a tight fitting cap, and should not swim deeper than a foot below the surface of the water.

  • What happens if I want to discontinue lessons in the middle of a session?

You are responsible for paying the remainder of the lessons signed up for (4 weeks of lessons at a time). Your card on file will be charged for the remainder of the lessons. If you are a recurring family that has completed their first month of lessons please let us know by the end of the month so we can move someone up on our waitlist to your spot.

  • What is your weather policy?

We will cancel lessons if lightning is nearby or if the wind is extreme to the point of being dangerous. Please note that the weather can be quite different in your location than ours. We do not cancel lessons because it’s raining. If we have to cancel your lesson due to lightning/extreme wind, we will try our best to make up that lesson another day that week.

Please note: You have up to 3hrs before your lesson to cancel due to weather if we are still continuing with lessons. If you choose to cancel a lesson after that grace period has passed and we have yet to cancel lessons, we will have to charge you a cancellation fee of $50.

  • Do you have a cancellation policy?

Cancellations for the Jellyfish and Starfish Stroke School programs must be made 24 hours in advance. If cancellations are made in less than 24 hours, a $50 fee will be charged to the card on file.

The exception to this is poor weather. If poor weather arises we will text you in the morning to confirm whether lessons will continue or not. You have up to 3hrs before your lesson to cancel due to weather if we are still continuing with lessons. If you choose to cancel a lesson after that grace period has passed and we have yet to cancel lessons, we will have to charge you a cancellation fee of $50.

  • What if I am not satisfied with the first lesson?

If you are not satisfied with your instructor or the way that your lesson went, we offer a full refund of unused lesson credit towards your next lesson. We will attempt to fix the issue and/or switch instructors if there is a problem that is unresolved.

  • What is your non-solicitation Agreement?

The parent/student relationship is with Swimming with Miss Londy LLC. To solicit a Swimming with Miss Londy Instructor to schedule lessons outside of the Swimming with Miss Londy LLC program is illegal and may cause the instructor to lose his or her job with Swimming with Miss Londy LLC and we may pursue further legal action due to the instructors' breach of contract. When contacting instructors it is imperative that you use the instructor line to reach them as this will help the Swimming with Miss Londy LLC’s program run with the utmost integrity. Students, parents, and guardians will not circumvent the Swimming with Miss Londy LLC’s program.
